A Letter to Mom

Authors Note: this is a letter from cole to his mom. This letter is written to tell her how he has changed.

Dear, mom I thought I would write you this to inform you on how I have been doing. Since my experience on the island I have changed a lot. One oof the biggest and most important things I have changed are my anger issues. I haven’t hurt anyone in a long time and am able to control my anger easily.

Second I also wanted to tell you that I am not mad at you for looking past dad hurting me but I am still working on forgiving dad. Hopefully he will be different when he gets out of jail.

Also I am sorry for all of the trouble I have caused. I know what I did was wrong and am sorry for all of the stress that I caused and money that you had to spend for a stupid reason. But in ways it also helped because I have been straightened out and hopefully dad will be too.

But overall thank you for sending me to that island because even though I was mad at first but I got past it and learned how I really should act. If I didn’t go I may have grown up and ended up in jail if not for you. So thank you
